Don't Forget to Vote

Here are a clip that I find amusing...especially in this heated presidental race. I also posted a speech that O'bama did in Richmond last week. It is actually fun to live in a state that actually can have an impact. Not like Wyoming who is always Red. Anyway...it is almost over and I will be happy to move on no matter what the outcome.

I have been working alot the last few weeks. Spent a week in Boston (or Bawstan) and it actually is a very nice city. The T system was easy to figure out and most people were very nice. Well except for a couple of Cambridge City Councilmembers I met with...they had attitude problems...or as one of them kept reminding me "I AM AN ELECTED OFFICIAL". Well duh! That is why I asked to meet with you. The Boston City Councilmembers and the Boston Transporation Commissioners were all super nice. If you are into history (aka Paul Revere/Boston Tea Party) I say it is worth the trip. I am now in NYC. It has already been exhausting mostly because it was raining on and off all day. Figures the one trip where I am not driving and have to walk/subway to meetings it would be rainy. I made a trip out to Long Island via the train this morning and am going to Brooklyn tomorrow. It should be interesting since I will have to take the subway and the bus! I may just jump in a cab if it gets too complicated. But I do love the vibe of NYC...I am forcing myself not to go shopping! Good thing I have been busy :)

I did stop into a halloween shop today to look at costumes! I have actually been invited to a few parties this year and can't decide what to dress up as. I am either gonna go as a girl scout (I have my old girl scout sash...its is pretty pathetic cause it is covered in patches front and back! I was such a nerd) or a Native American since I get asked like once a week if I am Native American! LOL Hopefully I will put something together...if I make it back in time. My train doesn't get back to DC until 6 on Friday. I maybe too tired to trick or treat!
