Leucocoprinus birnbaumii, aka Lepiota lutea, the yellow houseplant mushroom

I woke up one morning and found these crazy mushrooms in my houseplant. It was little and by the time I got home that night the mushroom grew double! After a quick google search (crazy yellow mushroom) I discovered it is harmless and most likely my potting soil had the mushroom spores already in it. Though you are not suppose to eat them. So if you ever see a crazy yellow mushroom in your house plant enjoy it but don't eat it :)

That's a pretty cool looking mushroom. Hey, I can't let you view my personal blog unless I have your email address. So, if you feel comfortable you could post your email address or send it to Jamie and she can send it to me. You look great in your pics by the way!
